Platform

Understanding Resicoms

What is Resicoms?

Resicoms is a dedicated digital platform for retirement villages and communities. It brings news, events, dining information, bookings and useful services into one clear place for residents and homeowners.

Who is the platform designed for?

It is designed for retirement village and community operators that want a clearer way to communicate with residents and homeowners. The resident experience and the administration tools are designed around the different needs of each audience.

Does every community have its own platform?

Yes. Each village or community has its own platform on its own domain, with private access for its residents, homeowners and authorised staff.

Can the platform reflect our organisation’s identity?

Yes. The platform can use your logo, colours, imagery and community information so it feels like a natural part of your organisation rather than a separate generic service.

02

Resident experience

For residents and homeowners

What can residents and homeowners access?

The exact content is chosen by each community. It can include current notices, events, dining choices, personal bookings, transport contacts, wellbeing information and other useful local services.

Does Resicoms need to be downloaded from an app store?

No app store download is required. Resicoms works through an ordinary web browser while providing an app like experience on a phone. This removes a common setup barrier for residents and homeowners.

Which devices can residents use?

The platform is responsive and can be used on phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers through a supported modern browser.

Is the platform designed to be accessible?

Accessibility is a core design consideration. The interface uses clear navigation, readable text, strong contrast and consistent layouts to make everyday tasks easier to understand.

03

Administration

For community teams

How do teams manage platform content?

Authorised team members use a secure administration dashboard to publish notices, manage events, update dining information and maintain the services available to their community.

Can the platform change as our services develop?

Yes. Community content can be updated as often as needed, and the mix of information and services can evolve as your organisation’s priorities change.

Can different members of staff use the dashboard?

Access is restricted to authorised team members. The appropriate administration arrangement and responsibilities can be agreed during setup for each organisation.

Getting started

Delivery, support and data

What is involved in setting up a community platform?

We begin by understanding your community, identity, content and service priorities. From there we agree the structure, prepare the platform, support content setup and plan a clear introduction for residents, homeowners and staff.

How is personal information handled?

Each platform has privacy information that reflects the organisation operating the community and the services being provided. Our privacy notice and GDPR page explain the approach used on this sales website and our broader data protection principles.

Do you provide help with onboarding and support?

The implementation plan will include the onboarding and support arrangements appropriate for your team and community. These are agreed clearly before the platform is introduced.
